Shrimp Recipes
Shrimp Casserole
2 lbs cooked shrimp
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp salad oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tbsp butter
1 cup rice
1/4 tsp pepper
Marinate shrimp in a mixture of the lemon juice and salad oil for 4 hours. Cook rice. Saute onion and green pepper. Add tomato soup, cream and pepper. Add shripm and rice. Mix well. Bake in casserole for 50 minutes at 350.
Shrimp Chowder
2 cups water
1 cup diced potatos
1 onion chopped
1/2 cup green pepper
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp basil
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup diced celery
1 cup corn
1/2 cup carrots
1 clove crushed garlic
1 1/2 lbs shrimp
1/4 tsp pepper
Combine all ingredients except shrimp. Simmer covered until vegetables are tender. Add shrimp and cook for 5 minutes.
