Pie Recipes
Custard Pie Recipe
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
4 cups milk
6 tsp cornstarch
Beat eggs. Add cornstarch, sugar, salt, milk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into crust and bake for 15 minutes at 400. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 40 more minutes.
Peach Pie Recipe
6 peaches pealed and sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 egg
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp vanilla
Place peache slices in pie shell. Mix beaten egg, sugar, butter, flour and vanilla. Put this mix over the peach slices. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
Pumpkin Pie Recipe
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
2 cups scalded milk
Beat eggs. Add in sugar, brown sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon. Blend in pumpkin and scalded milk. Pour into a pie shell. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 50 minutes.
Pecan Pie Recipe
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp flour
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Mix corn syrup, salt, flour and eggs. Add vanilla, margarine and pecans. Mix and then pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325 for one hour.
