Cherry Jubilee Dessert Recipe
Vanilla Cookies
1 can cherries
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
whipped cream
Break up vanilla cookies into crumbs. Cover bottom of 8" square pan with cookie crumbs. Mix butter with eggs and add powdered sugar. Layer over cookie crumbs. Next add cherries. Top with whipped cream.
Butterscotch Tapioca Pudding Desert Recipe
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup minute tapioca
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups milk
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
Separate eggs and set aside egg whites. Mix egg yolks with milk. Add brown sugar, tapioca, butter and salt. Stir constantly over a low flame until the mixture comes to a boil. Cool a little. Add vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
