Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
1 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Mix butter and sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to mixture. Add chocolate chips. Place 1 1/2 inches diameter balls 2 inches apart on acookie sheet. Bake at 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are light brown.
