Chicken Recipe
Chicken Divan
8 pieces of chicken
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup hollandaise sauce
2 cups white sauce
1 bunch of broccoli
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup whipped cream
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
Simmer chicken then cool. Make the white sauce and then stir in hollandaise, whipped cream, and worcestershire sauce. Cook broccoli then arrange on serving platter. Sprinkle one half of the parmesan cheese on broccoli. Remove chicken meat from bones and arrange on top of broccoli. Pour sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the other half of the parmesan cheese on top. Cook it in the oven to heat until it is bubbly.
Chicken and Wild Rice
1 box Uncle Ben's Wild Rice
1 chicken cut into pieces
3 slices raw bacon
1 can mushroom soup or golden mushroom soup
Line the casserole dish with the raw bacon cut into pieces. Cook the wild rice for 15 minutes and place on top of the bacon. Next add the chicken pieces on top of the rice. Pour concentrated soup on top of the chicken. Sprinkle 1/2 of the seasoning from the rice over the top. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
