14 cups cooked apples
4 cups sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp whole cloves

1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
Use any of the above recipes. Put the ingredients into a 6-quart crock pot. Mix well and cook on high for 10 to 15 hours depending on the crock pot and the consistency you desire. Stir the mixture from time to time and taste after it cooks for a few hours. You can add more sugar or spices when you taste the mixture.
